Looming Prototype


Quite a lot of changes that occur to this project, the art section needs to change the temporary target. Art section needs to do this due to the time for the prototype appointments are getting closer. From now until the next two weeks, art section will start designing levels with outer assets which is free assets from Itch.io. As a game level for the prototype, the manufacture starts from the first level or the laboratory area. This area will become the beginning of the game line. For the start, the character will be in the Mesh Room and move to the old laboratory area which is the later place. The making of this area is quite difficult due to the preparation of small-scale assets and some other things about the assets.

To make one area, which is calculated in the size of a rectangular box, it takes about thirty to forty-five minutes. It was not easy enough because it is difficult to shift in the desired direction related to the object, especially in terms of making a background as an area from many mixtures of different assets or objects. Not just one problem, these objects still need to be arranged from different levels of layers (object 1 in layer 1, etc.) to appear in accordance with the order of alignment. There are so many sprites and object to make this one prototype and because of that, the art section will work hard to pursue the rest of the time.
